Swearing, Baptism and Delivery of the Eagles at the 123rd AUPC Course and Swearing at the 4th AUFP Course
The Commandant of the Air Academy, Brigadier General Umberto Baldi, in his speech focused the young cadets’ attention on the value of the oath, as a testimony of loyalty to the Homeland and its Institutions, urging them to always act with professionalism and dedication to service. Subsequently, the 123rd AUPC Course was baptized and the eagles were handed over to the young cadets who obtained the aircraft pilot certificate at the 70th Squadron in Latina, the first milestone towards obtaining the military pilot certificate for full operational deployment in the future units they will belong to.
The solemn ceremony took place in the Students’ Parlatory, where numerous parents of the Students were present, moved and proud on this so significant day for their children.
