The 2014 Sports Event took place at the Garrison Logistics and Sports Centre of the 1st Air Region. The sporting event, which saw the participation of over 700 registered competitors, along with 200 family members in attendance, unfolded along a route that also involved the Milan Idroscalo, managed by the Province of Milan, with the start, finish and prize-giving ceremony taking place at the A.M. facility of the CLSP. Two races were scheduled: the first, starting at 19:00, saw the participation of 70 children born in 2000 and later, covering a 400-metre route inside the military compound. Subsequently, at 19:30, the competitive and non-competitive running race kicked off along a 6 km route. Once again, the initiative found broad support and cooperation among local institutional bodies, social operators, sports clubs and commercial entities who positively contributed to the realisation of the event's programme. In conclusion, the event once again represented an important moment for the gathering of staff and their respective families, who flooded the CLSP, spending a peaceful afternoon dedicated to sport and fun.
