The F-35A aircraft of the 32nd Wing, the first unit in Europe to acquire fifth-generation aircraft, have been integrated into the National Air Defence system since 2018. Wednesday 12 August 2020 the 32nd Wing of Amendola (FG), supported by the entire Armed Force, reached the 5,000 flying hours with the F-35A aircraft.
