On Monday, 23rd May, the two General Officers expressed their appreciation for the work carried out by the specialists of the Airport Detachment Maintenance Centre. In September 2009, the Department began the practical training process on the C-130J line, conducted in the form of OJT (On Job Training) both at the Detachment and – for a select group of specialists – at the 46th Air Brigade in Pisa. On Thursday, 5th May, the Maintenance Centre handed over the 10th aircraft inspected in Elmas by its own personnel, within the planned timeframe. At the same time, the Department continued to ensure 1st and 2nd Level Technical maintenance on the Atlantic line, according to established programmes and without any delays. During the visit, strong appreciation was expressed for the work carried out by the base specialists, who will continue to operate on both fleets.
