This morning, the fighter jetsEurofighter Typhoonof the Italian Air Force, on alert duty for the defence of national airspace, carried out an intervention on an immediate take-off order (in technical jargon called a “scramble”) to intercept and check a civilian aircraft that had lost radio contact with air traffic control bodies.
