The meeting was organized by the “Giulio Douhet” Military Aeronautics Studies Center of the Italian Air Force Association and the Tor Vergata University. During the conference, various topics were discussed, including the risks arising from malicious cyberattacks on air and satellite navigation, which are on the rise. The continuous technological innovations and the lack of familiarity with IT security issues expose the organizations involved to ever-increasing risks for navigation and communications.

By comparing the industry views with the attack demonstrations presented by authoritative experts, a realistic picture of the dangers that a systematic and malicious use of the presented vulnerabilities could cause in the future has been deliberately provided. Workshop program
