On 9 March, the presentation of the labarum in the presence of the highest authorities of the city of Viterbo. On Friday 9 March, at the Prefecture of Viterbo, the AVIS municipal section “Romano Miloni” of Viterbo organised the solemn ceremony for the presentation of the AVIS labarum to the newly formed group of the “Air Force Marshal School”. The Air Force Marshal School / Viterbo Airport Command reports to the Air Force Schools Command and the 3rd Air Region of Bari; the Unit has a dual mission: on the one hand, as a university-level institute, it is tasked with providing military and moral training and specific professional instruction for Warrant Officers of the Marshal Rank, as well as the refinement and updating of such training; on the other hand, as a military airport open to civil traffic, it provides technical-operational support, air navigation services and force-protection activities at the Tommaso Fabbri airport.
