They met on Tuesday 11 November in Milan, at the HQ of the Air Squad Command / 1st Air Region, The General S.A. Silvano Frigerio and the Brigadier General Mohammed Alrasheed, Chair of the Joint Steering Committee of the Eurofighter Kuwait programme.
The central aspect of the meeting was the signing of an agreement, within the framework of the Programme Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two Governments, which renewed and updated the partnership between the Air Force and the Kuwait Air Force on the Eurofighter Typhoon weapon system.
Kuwait has therefore confirmed its interest in governmental cooperation with Italy, committing to support a military cooperation programme over the next three years. This programme includes the training of technical personnel, support in the field of electronic warfare, and the management of activities through the Italian Air Force's Joint International Programme Office.
