The Italian Air Force took part in the international assembly with the Commander of the Re.S.T.O.G.E. of Pratica di Mare. Colonel Sgamba, together with some representatives of the company “Elettronica SpA”, represented Italy at the congress, which was attended, among others, by Dr Vijay Kumar Saraswat, Director General of the DRDO and one of India's leading scientists. The Commander of the Re.S.T.O.G.E. gave a presentation entitled “Electronic Warfare capability innovation – conceptual framework of the Italian Air Force”, during which he illustrated the guidelines of the Armed Force within the context of the sector's three areas of operations, namely Electronic Surveillance (E.S.), Electronic Attack (E.A.) and Electronic Defence (E.D.).
