During his speech, General Magnani highlighted the correct attitude towards flight inconveniences and incidents in order to prevent them. The conference is part of the activities planned within the study plan. The Flight Safety Inspector was welcomed by the commander of the Air Academy, Brigadier General Fernando Giancotti.
The Flight Safety Inspectorate (I.S.V.), established in 1991, studies the problems related to flight safety and issues concerning the prevention, investigation and legal aspects of military aircraft accidents. Since 1995, the I.S.V. has been supported by the Higher Institute for Flight Safety (I.S.S.V.), which provides training and qualification in the field of Flight Safety (S.V.) for personnel of the Armed Forces, the Armed Forces of the State and personnel belonging to other departments and civil organizations. The I.S.V., through the Training and Dissemination Office, then disseminates the concepts underlying S.V. through the magazine “Flight Safety”.
