The Advanced Course in Air Operations Preparation took place from April 7 to 11. The CPO3 aims to contribute to the preparation of senior officers destined to assume responsibilities at the level of Commander of the Joint Force Air Component (JFAC) or Division Chief of a national or multinational command and control structure for air operations, illustrating the issues, timelines, responsibilities, and criticalities of the planning cycle involved. During the closing ceremony and the delivery of attendance certificates, the Deputy Commander of the COA, Brigadier General Paolo Mazzi, congratulated the participants on the excellent results achieved, also thanking them for the fruitful contribution to the improvement of the course’s content and organization. The mission of the AOTC is to prepare and qualify the personnel of the Armed Forces for the tasks of Command and Control of Air Operations to be carried out within complex structures such as the JFACC (Joint Forces Air Control Center), in national and multinational contexts (NATO, EU, UN, coalitions).
