The course, organized by the Air Force Command, took place at the Montescuro Mountain Survival Center.
The course, which saw the participation of 51 military trainees, mostly aspiring Fucilieri, instructors and officers from the 16th Stormo of Martina Franca, was divided into a series of theoretical lessons in which the trainees were able to learn first aid techniques, orientation, topography, construction of various types of shelters and survival in adverse environmental and meteorological conditions. The training activity was then completed with the practical phase. The Commander of the Training Group, Lieutenant Colonel Nicola Angiulli, during the final debriefing, recalled the training objectives of the activity carried out and thanked the Commander of the Detachment, Lieutenant Colonel Francesco Italo Arno, together with all the personnel, for the excellent reception and logistical support provided. The course, held in the special setting of the Montescuro Air Detachment, represented an opportunity for the trainees to develop their professional skills and learn specific operational techniques, alongside values characteristic of military status such as esprit de corps and belonging to the Armed Forces.
