On Wednesday 30 May, in the presence of Gen. B.A. Vincenzo Nuzzo, Chief of Staff of the Command of the Schools of the A.M./ 3rd R.A., and with the presentation of the “business plans”, the 1st Short Master “Ready when needed” was concluded for Officers, Sub-Officers and Graduates of the 36th Fighter Squadron of Gioia del Colle, in collaboration with the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, the Libera Università Mediterranea – LUM Jean Monnet of Casamassima (BA), the Spegea Business School and with the sponsorship of the Bank of Italy.
A project born at the local level, at the instigation of the Air Force General Staff as part of the “Per.For.MA” (Military Training Course of the Air Force) project, with the aim of discussing the methodologies and tools used in the civilian sphere as a derivative of the military sphere.
The Master was divided into three main areas:
– Area of awareness where an overview of the national and international macroeconomic context was provided;
– Areas of expertise in which the professional characteristics of an entrepreneur were illustrated, the care of the company brand, how to identify competitive advantage, and the activity of human resources management in complex organizations;
– On-the-job training activities at two large exporting companies where the students got a hands-on experience of the production cycle and the activities that take place there on a daily basis.
These were words of great satisfaction expressed by General Nuzzo, who emphasized that continuous interaction between the institutions is an essential value today and that the training activity represents the most rewarding investment for the entire system of the country.
The 36th Fighter Wing of Gioia del Colle depends on the Air Force Command, through the Combat Forces Command. It ensures the Air Defense of the national and NATO interest area, contributing to the control of the related Airspace since the time of peace.
