Press release No. 74/2017 46th AIR BRIGADE OF THE ITALIAN AIR FORCE TRANSPORTS A NEWBORN IN IMMINENT DANGER OF DEATH FROM SARDINIA A C-130J aircraft from the 46th Air Brigade of Pisa has just completed a medical flight for a newborn baby who urgently required medical assistance. The air mission was managed by the Summit Situation Room of the Air Squad Command, the operational room of the Italian Air Force which, among its duties, is also responsible for organising and managing – in coordination with Prefectures, Hospitals and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – this type of transport throughout the national territory.
