The Vigna di Valle Historical Museum houses the most significant aircraft ever used by the Italian Air Force, including those deployed prior to its foundation. The Museum, regarded as one of the world’s leading aviation museums, not only preserves the historical heritage entrusted to it in the best possible condition, but also carries out major restoration work on site.
The Italian Air Force Historical Museum is situated on the shores of Lake Bracciano at the historic Vigna di Valle airport (Rome). Admission is free. Opening hours are from 09:00 to 17:30 throughout the summer season. The museum is closed on Mondays only.
