The complexity of transport sector and the growing level of specialisation that in recent years has affected the Armed Forces' motor transport sector has necessitated the availability of highly qualified personnel capable of preserving operational efficiency – in terms of readiness for deployments, staff safety e material protection – and to guarantee reliable logistical support even in the most complex scenarios.

From this perspective, the training activity led by the Support Service as the competent technical body of the sector has enabled twenty specialists coming from Italian Air Force and Italian Army units across the national territory, to acquire the technical and professional skills necessary to guarantee a reliable and safe load management, even during particularly complex activities, such as logistics transport or logistic support operations at national and international level.

During the course, the participants had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, exploring theoretical and practical aspects concerning current legislation, the anchoring techniques e load balancing, as well as the correct use of handling equipment.

The newly trained personnel will daily contribute to supporting not only the numerous operations outside national borders, but also all the exercises and international cooperation operations in which the Armed Forces are involved, helping to guarantee the smooth running of missions and the maintenance of high operating standards in the logistics sector.
