The defunct entity was handed over to the Military Academy of the Italian Army
The symbolic handover took place on the Command area of the former Depot between the Commandant of the General Division Academy Giuseppenicola Tota and the Commandant of the 3rd Squadron and Aeronautical Guard of Verona Colonel Marco Maistrello. The 3rd Squadron was the aeronautical entity responsible for handing over the infrastructure after the closure, which took place on December 18, 2012, after 57 years of activity.
Subsequently, the related technical and administrative documents were formalized in the same Academy, also prepared and signed by the representatives of the 1st Department of Art and Architecture of Milan and the 6th Department of Infrastructure of Bologna.
