Change of command at the General Office for Managerial Innovation

On Thursday, September 26, at Palazzo Aeronautica, in the Office of the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Squadrone General Luca Goretti, the change of command ceremony took place’General Office for Managerial Innovation (UIM) between Air Division General Marco Lant and the Air Vice-Marshal Fabio Giunchi.

In the welcoming speech, the General Lant he thanked the staff of the’UIM for the commitment shown in the important work carried out in the continuous research and development of innovative practices, providing constant support for the process of change and transformation underway in the Armed Forces.

It General Giunchi, In turn, in thanking the Chief of Staff for the trust granted, he stated his determination to face with enthusiasm and determination the challenges that await the UIM in the years to come.

It Chief of the Air Staff, While expressing his deep appreciation for the work accomplished by the outgoing Chief of the General Office, he offered his best wishes for good work to General Giunchi.

The’General Office for Managerial Innovation (UIM) is the body directly dependent on the Chief of Staff of the Air Force responsible for Research & Development in the field of organizational innovation, providing advice to the top of the organization for the implementation and management of Integrated Innovative Services Project, Quality, Knowledge and Human Resources. The UIM also performs the function of Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (P3O) for the Air Force. Finally, within the Office there is the AMiCERT Certification Body (OdC), an accredited body for the certification of professional figures and management systems, which is a unique entity within the Public Administration.
