Venerdì 3 Dicembre, presso la base area USAF di Sheppard (Texas), il Ten.Col. Ortenzi ha assunto il Comando del Flying Training Squadron Il Lt. Col.Patrick Testerman dell’USAF, dopo due anni, ha lasciato il Comando al Tenente Colonnello Maurizio Ortenzi, proveniente dal corso‘Marte IV’ dell’Accademia Aeronautica di Pozzuoli (Napoli), pilota diTornado e già in forza al156° del 36° Stormo diGioia del Colle. Subentrando in questo incaricosarà responsabile dell’addestramento basico iniziale, Fase II del Brevetto di Pilota Militare svolta su velivolo T-6 ‘Texan II’, dei giovani Ufficiali della NATO, circa 250 per ogni anno, provenienti da sette Paesi diversi (per maggiori approfondimenti su questo ed altri programmi formativi negli USA, a partecipazione nazionale e sotto la supervisione del Comando Scuole dell’AM/3^ Regione Aerea di Bari, Click here).
