In the presence of the Commander of the Air Squadron, General of the Army Tosi, Colonel Tessaro succeeded Colonel Frasson. The event was attended by military and civilian personnel from the 2nd Air Wing and the 313th Group of Acrobatic Training “Frecce Tricolori”.
Colonel Frasson, who has been in command of the Stormo since 2010, thanked all the local units outside the airport for their constant collaboration during his command, along with his staff, to whom he has given credit for the important results achieved. The outgoing commander then wished the colleague and friend Colonel Tessaro the best of luck in the prestigious and delicate task, with whom he shared his “blue” experience since attending regular courses at the Air Force Academy. Colonel Frasson will take up the position of Head of the Resource Management Office of the Milan Combat Forces Command. During his speech, Air Force General Tosi highlighted how the 2nd Air Wing has consistently ensured the operational efficiency of the assigned air defense component and the constant support for the activities of the National Acrobatics Patrol, all while ensuring the presence of all personnel present. Colonel Tessaro arrived at the 2nd Air Wing in Rivoltodopo after serving for approximately 3 years at the State Air Safety Inspectorate of the Air Force General Staff. Previously, he was employed with several units of the Armed Forces, such as the 60th Air Brigade in Amendola (Foggia), the 61st Air Brigade in Galatina (Lecce), the 2nd Air Wing in Rivoltodopo, and the Command of the Milanese Fighter Division Bombardieri. He also served a three-year assignment within the International Headquarters at NATO Headquarters in Brussels (Belgium), in addition to participating in peacekeeping missions in former Yugoslavia, Kosovo, and Afghanistan. He has logged over 2700 hours of flight time on the SF260, S208M, MB339A, G91T, AMX and AMX-T aircraft. TG Regione of 21/06/2012 at 13:00 Tele4 of 21/06/2012 at 13:30
