Colonel Nadir Ruzzon takes over from Colonel Massimiliano Pasqua On Thursday 3 September, at the Istrana Military Airport, home of the 51st Wing, the handover ceremony took place between the outgoing Commander, the Colonel Massimiliano Pasqua, and the incoming Commander, the Colonel Nadir Ruzzon. The 51st Wing is one of the flying units dependent upon the Air Force Command in Rome, via the Combat Forces Command in Milan. Equipped with AMX, AMX-Ted F2000 aircraft, it has the configuration of a bomber fighter, reconnaissance wing and, from 2019, Air Defence. The main tasks assigned to it are combined operations to support surface forces and attack and reconnaissance operations (Information Superiority). and Air Defence.
