Lieutenant Colonel Paolo Tuzi has replaced Colonel Maurizio Casciani. The handover ceremony, with the outgoing Colonel Maurizio Casciani, took place on Wednesday 27 September in the presence of the Commander of the Viterbo School and Airport, Colonel Antonio Coppola, all Group personnel, and a representative group from other units. Colonel Maurizio Casciani has left his post after more than two years, which coincided with strong development in the School's logistics and technical operational sector, to take up the role of deputy head of the 4th Office of the 5th Department of the Air Force Staff. In his farewell speech, the Officer, while wishing his successor every satisfaction in his new role, warmly thanked the Group personnel for their availability and commitment in every circumstance, expressing at the same time his appreciation for the collaboration received from all units of the School and Airport. Lieutenant Colonel Paolo Tuzi, who comes from the Air Force Command where he held the position of Assistant in the 4th Section of the Air Traffic Office of the Staff, thanked the Commander of the School for the trust placed in him and his predecessor for the handover period, which allowed him to fully grasp the new reality. Colonel Coppola, in his closing speech for the ceremony, expressed words of gratitude and appreciation for the work carried out by Colonel Casciani, highlighting his exceptional human and professional qualities.
