Colonel Rinaldi, after more than two years in command of the Wing, will be taking up a post at the Air Force General Staff. Colonel Mora, the incoming commander, wished to emphasise in his speech that his objective is to consolidate the excellent results achieved by the unit thus far, knowing he can count on the utmost commitment from the personnel, both special forces operators and support staff, the latter being fundamental to ensuring full operational efficiency. General Comelli, Commander of the 1st Air Brigade, to which the 17th Wing reports, finally expressed, during his address, his heartfelt appreciation to Colonel Rinaldi and the Wing personnel for the excellent results achieved, both nationally and internationally, highlighting the importance of the Special Forces, specifically the Italian Air Force special forces operators, within the Defence sector.
