Thursday 6 March, at the Guidonia Airport base of the 60th Wing, the handover ceremony for the role of Director at the Police Station between the Colonel Fernando Fuccelli, outgoing, and the Colonel Luigi Dalfino, subsequent.
At the event, chaired by Head of the Commissariat and Administration Service of the Air Force Logistics Command, Brigadier General Michele Minenna, they participated the Mayor Of the Municipality of Guidonia Montecelio, Dr. Mauro Lombardo, the Commander of the Municipal Police, the exes Captain of the Commissariat and Administration Service, the former Directors of the Commissioner's Directorate, the Commanders of the Located entities and a Representation of the city Section of the’Air Force Association.
In his farewell speech, the Colonel Fuccelli he recalled the period spent at the Directorate, stressing…how the Directorate's work took place at a time of critical evolution of its functions and in entirely peculiar circumstances such as the introduction of the new procurement code…”and thanked the staff for the work carried out during your term “...for having worked with unparalleled alacrity, fortified by a deeply felt esprit de corps, with a loyal spirit and faithful to the values of our Armed Force. Without the contribution of each of you, the Directorate could not function and no mission could be achieved…”.
He then offered a wish to Colonel Dalfino. “...to whom today I yield the honour of this important task...”, for the leadership of the Directorate.
It Colonel Dalfino, in his inaugural speech, he thanked the Superior Authorities for the confidence placed in him and then addressed the men and women of the Directorate stating that, “…Each of us is the beating heart of the entire organisation, and at various levels, we can and must contribute to its improvement to find different solutions in facing the challenges of today and tomorrow. We must not only work for the present, but also to build the future...”.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Brigadier General Michele Minenna, after thanking the Authorities and guests for attending, he thanked Colonel Fuccelli for his service and the results achieved during his tenure “...You have operated with the right flair, foresight, intelligence, and wisdom to accomplish all the tasks that have been entrusted to you…” and extended sincere best wishes to Colonel Dalfino for taking up his appointment, concluding with thanks to the staff of the Directorate and the Commanders of the co-located bodies...“be proud of what you do and will continue to do; there is an atmosphere of teamwork, united in respecting individual specialities, all contributing to that extraordinary mosaic which is the Italian Air Force...”.
The Commissariat Directorate carries out the functions provided for in art. 149 of Legislative Decree no. 66/2010 (COM) and in arts. 525, 526 and 527 of Presidential Decree no. 90/2010 (TUOM).

Furthermore, it carries out technical and logistical inspections, in accordance with current regulations.
Currently, the organisational structure of the Directorate is centred around three Offices, the Goods Laboratory, and the Central Stores Warehouse.
