CALENDAR A.M. 2013

Linked to the calendar is an initiative of solidarity in support of people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (‘ALS’)‘All our efforts for a safer world’This is the slogan and the guiding thread of a calendar that, in the year in which the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Air Force will be celebrated, aims to reaffirm the commitment and professionalism of the men and women in “blue” for the mission that has always characterized the Armed Forces, namely to contribute with an effective and appropriate aerial instrument to the challenges that the global scenario demands.

The photos in the calendar, produced by the Audiovisual Production Center of the Armed Forces, aim to highlight the capabilities and excellence that the Air Force, through its personnel and its aircraft, puts into action daily alongside the other Armed Forces in support of the country’s defense and foreign policy initiatives. In particular, by scrolling through the pages of the calendar, it will be possible to capture the unique characteristics of the aerial instrument from different angles: from missions in the national field, where the primary task of air defense is complemented by transport and rescue activities in emergencies, training, support for industry and the Defense for technological research and experimentation, to those carried out outside national borders, where reconnaissance and information capabilities, deterrence, and the projection of the aerial instrument as a whole are essential components for the success of military and diplomatic actions. The ‘A.M. Calendar 2013’ is also linked to a solidarity initiative. By purchasing the calendar, you can in fact make a small but significant contribution to the Italian Association for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (AISLA), which has been committed for years to the protection, assistance and care of patients with this terrible disease.
