The Pozzuoli Academy hosted a charity concert. Furthermore, the Academy Commander read a message of support for the initiative sent for the occasion by the Archbishop of Naples, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe.
Numerous civil and military authorities were present, including the Commander of Schools/3rd Air Region, Air Squad General Mario Renzo Ottone, and the President of the IDIS Foundation for Città della Scienza, Prof. Vittorio Silvestrini.
Notable was the singing performance of the “rocker” from Bagnoli, who once again demonstrated great talent, performing his entire rich repertoire in what proved to be a veritable “musical lesson” on the dynamics of the contemporary world, offering a different perspective on national issues and international geopolitics.
The song “The Island That Isn't There” is much appreciated, dedicated to Nisida, which in the past was home to the Air Force Academy from 1945 to 1961.
The entire proceeds from the initiative have been donated to the IDIS Foundation for the rebirth of the Campania educational hub. RAI3 TGR Campania at 14:00 on 01.06.2013
