An 118 helicopter used the landing area of the SSAM in Caserta to transport a man injured in a road accident. The medical intervention was carried out with an A-109 S helicopter of the 118, which first recovered the injured man at the scene of the accident and then landed at the SSAM, where the man was transported by an ambulance to the Sant’Anna and San Sebastiano Hospital in Caserta, a hospital equipped to provide the necessary care. Medical personnel from the SSAM provided support during the transfer of the injured man from the helicopter to the ambulance, as well as the necessary assistance on the ground for the landing of the aircraft.
