Large attendance on the opening day. Today the conclusion in the presence of the Minister of Defence. At the aerial event - which was also made possible thanks to the cooperation and support provided by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, companies and entrepreneurs - the participants not only appreciated the performances of the world's most important military aerobatic patrols (the ‘Patrouille de France Acrobatique the ’Patrulla Aguila‘, the ’Patrouille Suisse‘, ’Team Iskry‘ of Poland, the ’Royal Jordanian Falcons‘ of Jordan, and the ’Krila Oluje‘ of Croatia), applauded the evolutions of the Frecce Tricolori that concluded the first day. The organisation was impressive, with over 1,500 men and women from the Air Force, over 1,000 police officers (including the Carabinieri, State Police, Guardia di Finanza, Forest Rangers, Udine Provincial Police, and Municipal Police), around 360 operators of the 118 emergency services of Udine and the Italian Red Cross, and 1,100 men and women of the Civil Defence, who ensured the inflow and outflow of all the participants in the event both outside and inside the airport. The event is an opportunity for the Italian Air Force to share with all citizens the Italian values and passion for flying, as well as to show, through the exhibition of the most representative aircraft in its fleet, the level of preparation achieved by the Armed Force and the aeronautical and space potential of the ’Italian System‘, highlighting how the Frecce Tricolori are an excellent example of Made in Italy. The Italian Air Force is a modern armed force that employs highly technological means and highly trained personnel to ensure 24-hour control of national airspace and to perform all other assigned missions with the highest degree of effectiveness and safety. The Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale (PAN) is a tile in the larger mosaic composed of all the operational realities of the Air Force.
