Wednesday 27 October at Palazzo Aeronautica, the act was signed for the Air Force by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force for the prevention and technical investigation of air accidents. The Protocol provides, in particular, for the strengthening of the institutional collaboration relationship through the mutual sharing, in the field of prevention, of information and data concerning civil and military flight activity, and, with regard to investigative aspects, of specific technical-professional experience. Recalling how the agreement fits into the “context of institutional collaboration between sectors of Public Administration”, General Lodovisi took the opportunity to emphasize that “the Air Force has always attached particular importance to the guiding principles of Flight Safety, so much so that this sector constitutes today a pillar, recognised both within and outside the Defence sector, of the Armed Force's specific expertise in the aviation environment”. “The protocol signed today with the Air Force – declared Extraordinary Commissioner Bruno Franchi – is part of the ANSV's policy of creating all possible synergies between State Organisations that have as a common objective the carrying out, under safe conditions, of flight activities in the civil and military aviation sector. The exchange of experiences in the field of flight safety and the sharing of information contributes to improving prevention activities.”.
