The travelling exhibition by the painter Andrea Giovannini was inaugurated at the Officers' Club of the Operational Support Department in Villafranca. The event was attended by Colonel Roberto Poni, Commander of the Wing, the Mayor of Villafranca, Mario Faccioli, the Deputy Prefect of Verona, Dr Gerardino Mattia, and other civil and military authorities, as well as representatives of local business and culture.
The exhibition, hosted at the Stormo until 31 January, is currently on display at Palazzo Bottagisio in Villafranca, where in 1859 Franz Joseph and Napoleon III signed the Peace Treaty that brought the Second War of Independence to an end. The exhibition will then conclude its tour at the Army Officers' Club in Verona.
