Aeronautica Militare, soccorso aereo: in salvo uomo di 61 anni colpito da malore su nave portacontainer a largo di Trapani.

L’intervento è stato effettuato da un elicottero HH139-A dell’82° Centro SAR di Trapani
Si è concluso intorno alle 21 di questa sera il soccorso aereo effettuato con un elicottero HH139-A dell’82° Centro S.A.R. (Search and Rescue) di Trapani. L’intervento ha consentito il trasporto sanitario urgente di un uomo di 61 anni colpito da un malore mentre era su una nave portacontainer, a circa 160 miglia dalle coste di Trapani.
Decollati poco prima delle 19:30 dalla base aerea di Trapani, sede dell’82° Centro S.A.R., l’HH139-A ha raggiunto l’imbarcazione in pochi minuti di volo. Da qui, tramite l’ausilio di un verricello, un aero-soccorritore si è calato sul ponte della nave con una barella sulla quale è stato poi assicurato il paziente, coadiuvato dal personale di bordo.
Terminate le procedure di imbarco, l’elicottero si è diretto verso l’ospedale Sant’Antonio Abate (TP), nei pressi del quale è atterrato per lasciare il sessantunenne alle cure specifiche del personale sanitario ospedaliero.
The 82nd SAR Centre is part of the 15th Wing of Cervia, which guarantees, 24 hours a day, every single day of the year, the search and rescue of flight crews in distress, also contributing to public utility activities such as the search for missing persons at sea or in the mountains, the urgent medical transport of patients in imminent danger of death and the rescue of seriously traumatised individuals, operating even in complex weather conditions.
From its establishment to the present day, the crews of the 15th Wing have saved thousands of people in life-threatening situations. Since 2018, the Department has also acquired AIB (Wildfire Fighting) capability, contributing to the prevention of and fight against fires throughout the national territory as part of the joint task force deployed by the Ministry of Defence.
From the 15th Wing in Cervia, in addition to the 82nd SAR Centre in Trapani, the following are also dependent and deployed throughout the national territory: the 80th SAR Centre in Decimomannu (Cagliari), the 83rd SAR Flight Group, located in Cervia itself, the 84th SAR Centre in Gioia del Colle (Bari), and the 85th SAR Centre in Pratica di Mare.
