On 27 June, the handover ceremony at the helm took place in the Madonna di Loreto Hall of Palazzo AM Directorate for Military Personnel Management between the outgoing General of Air Force Francesco Vestito and the successor The Honourable Air Chief Marshal Maurizio Cantiello.
The event, which was attended by numerous civil and military authorities, was presided over by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Force General Antonio Conserva.
Having highlighted the professionalism and dedication of the Directorate's staff, the Outgoing Director has highlighted the substantial volume of work produced and expressed the hope for the continuation of greater computerisation to support employment choices.
Having thanked the Chief of Staff of the Air Force for the trust placed in him, General Cantiello stated he was ready to continue the work of his predecessors with a view to continuity, aiming to link tradition and innovation.
General S.A. Conserva, after thanking the outgoing and incoming Directors, highlighted the complexity of human resource management at a time of profound change.
