Informal greeting for the newly qualified pilots at the 60th Wing of Guidonia by General S.A. Umberto Baldi and Colonel Salvatore Trincone. On Friday 25th May, at the Guidonia Military Airport, home of the 60th Wing of the Italian Air Force, glider qualification was achieved by the twelve trainees of the 124th Supplementary Officer Pilot Trainees Course (AUPC).
IThe 60th Stormo of Guidonia is under the direct command of the Italian Air Force Schools Command and, among its institutional duties, is responsible for glider flight training provided to the students of the “Giulio Douhet” Military School, Student Pilot Officers of the Air Force Academy, and Auxiliary Student Pilot Officers.
