The course took place at the A.M. Specialists School in Caserta from 17 to 27 June. The two-week course provided basic knowledge of the “Information and Security” sector, delving into the duties, responsibilities, and organisation of “Security” and the “Operational Information Service”.
It is an integral part of the training path for obtaining the “Information and Security Specialism“, which is acquired after completing the “Interforce Training Course”held at the CIFI/G.E. in Ponte Galeria and an “on-the-job training” activity with Joint Forces and Inter-forces Bodies.
During the two weeks at the Air Force Specialist School, the attendees demonstrated commitment and interest in the topics covered, having the opportunity to delve into the themes introduced by SMA-Piani-200, a directive created to rationalise and optimise the homogeneous and organic development of aeronautical capability in the Information and Security sector. For most of the attendees, this was one of their first introductions to the sector, while for others it was a way to deepen knowledge acquired in the past. At the conclusion of the lessons, the participants undertook a final examination administered via the “Moodle” platform.
The closing operations of the course were presided over by Colonel Mauro Britti, Deputy Head of Office A2 ISTAR-EW of the CSA Staff and director of the course, who, in handing out the certificates of participation to the attendees, expressed heartfelt thanks to the permanent staff of the School, who provided valuable and qualified support during both the organisational and executive phases of the course. Finally, addressing the attendees, he expressed great satisfaction with the results achieved and the keen interest shown by all.
