The flight, as per procedures, was activated at the request of the Pescara Prefecture, from the Top Situational Room of the Air Force which immediately involved the 31st Wing, one of the Units that carries out operational readiness service for this type of mission.

The Falcon 50 took off from Ciampino Airport this morning, landing in Pescara after a flight of about an hour. Here the patient, constantly monitored by a medical team, was immediately boarded onto the aircraft made available by the Armed Forces for emergency transport.

Following the landing at Venice airport, an ambulance, already waiting on-site, headed immediately towards Padua Hospital for subsequent admission.

The Falcon 50 then took off again for Ciampino, where it resumed operational readiness for further requirements.
