One A unique and unrepeatable airshow will be held at the’airport “Mr De Bernardi” at Pratica di Mare, the weekend of 17 and 18 June, to continue celebrating the Centenary of the Italian Air Force. Big and small will be able to experience the Blue Wing in all its facets, retracing the evolution of aerial vehicles to reach the aerospace dimension.

Displays of aircraft that have made history, from Caproni Ca.3 al G-91, passing through the TF-104, a fly-past of the formation that will draw the number 100 in the sky, and a breathtaking finale: the acrobatic display of Frecce Tricolori. It will be possible to experience the thrill of flight thanks to gaming simulators; to live an immersive experience through a series of interactive pathways; to visit “Camp 100”the area dedicated to the historical reenactment, created with aircraft and reenactors who will remember the deeds of men and women in blue, from the birth of the Air Force to the present day.

It will be possible to visit a static exhibition, where more than 40 aircraft will be displayed – including F-35, Eurofighter and T-346 – and various Thematic areas: from space to integrated missile air defence, to excellence capabilities such as emergency medical transport, meteorological services and projection logistics. And again: technology, robotics and cyber security, which will project visitors towards the future, also thanks to the holding of one of the stages of the Coppa Italia Drones.

There will then be an area dedicated to the main industries in the Aerospace and Defence sector, bearing witness to the fundamental role the Air Force plays for the country and its inseparable link with technological and industrial excellence.

The demonstration will also allow us to continue to support the’A gift from heaven for AIRC“, the charity collection promoted by the Air Force for cancer research, the proceeds of which will be used to purchase latest-generation machinery for IFOM, the Institute for Molecular Oncology Foundation.

The demonstration will be in Live streaming on the Armed Forces' social media channels, while on Sunday 18 June the event will also be broadcast on Live TV, on RAI1, from 15:40 to 18:55.

The public will be able to access for free upon registration on the website www.aeronautica.difesa.it. The gates will open and the event activities will begin at 9:00 AM.
