This morning, for one of the Italian stages of the 38th Alpine Skiing World Cup, the MB339PAN aircraft of the Italian Air Force's National Aerobatic Team – between the first and second runs of the giant slalom – flew over the Gran Risa slope, in La Villa, unfurling the green, white, and red of the Italian flag.

In a breathtaking scenario, among the majestic Dolomite peaks, the Frecce Tricolori carried out the final flypast of their 64th acrobatic season, renewing the symbiosis of preparation, speed, and technology that unites alpine ski athletes and the personnel of the Air Force.

One last appointment to seal an acrobatic season which, in the year of the celebration of the Centenary of the Air Force, saw the Frecce Tricolori present in all Italian regional capitals with the initiative ’AM thanks Italy” and fly the Tricolore high, along with the capabilities of Made in Italy, at important events both in Italy and abroad.
