Bombing or passenger transport aircraft, all-metal monoplane, three-engine (two-engine for the Ca.102) with air-cooled engines, central fuselage. Dual-control, side-by-side cockpit.
The metal structure of the wing and the wide fuselage provided robustness and ease of maintenance at the same time.
They participated in several bombing missions.
It was declared out of service only in April 1940.
