In 1933, the Cant Z.1007 was conceived, outside of any competitions or ministerial specifications, thus leaving the designer a great deal of freedom.
The result was a three-engine bomber, a low-wing monoplane, with an elliptical fuselage that gave the machine excellent aerodynamics.
Subsequent “bis” and “ter” versions were created with continuous improvements.
In 1949, the last Z.1007 was decommissioned.
