Fighter aircraft, cantilever low-wing monoplane, twin-engine single-seat, metal structure.
It was a single-seater with a box truss wing, a main undercarriage and retractable tailwheel. It had a tube fuselage clad in aluminium with a 12.7 mm weapon in the nose.
Production was only decided in 1941. It remained in operation until 1943.
