Designed by engineer Bazzocchi, this small and elegant aircraft was remarkably successful both in Italy and abroad, quickly becoming the star of many competitions associated with the world of post-war tourism and sports aviation.
The Italian Air Force ordered 80 examples for training and liaison, using them until 1950. At the end of their operational life, 40 examples were handed over to the Aeroclub d'Italia for schools, tourism and sport.
