In Kuwait, a change in command at the Interforces Administrative Support Centre between Colonel Milella and Colonel Bonafede.
On Tuesday 16 April, at Alì Al Salem Air Base, the symbolic handover ritual of the flag of Interforce Command and Administrative Centre (CAI-I) has enacted the handover of the directorship of the same between the Colonel Paolo Milella, outgoing Director, and the Colonel Gaetano Bonafede, Incoming Director.
The ceremony was presided over by Commander of the’Comando del Contingente Nazionale Italiano And of the Task Force Air Kuwait (IT NCC and TFA-K) Colonel Alessandro Fiorini.
Colonel Fiorini, in his speech at the end of the ceremony, expressed his sincere esteem for Colonel Milella, congratulating him on the exemplary work carried out at the helm of the Centre, and extended his sincerest best wishes to Colonel Bonafede for the prestigious appointment he has taken up.
The Joint Inter-Force Support Administrative Centre, composed of personnel from various Armed Forces, guarantees, through its technical operations, contractual and administrative support for the Italian national contingent deployed in Kuwait and Iraq as part of Operation Prima Parthica and to the NATO Mission Iraq based in Baghdad.
