At the Model and Games Fair in Verona, an opportunity to learn about the Italian Air Force.
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 March, at the stands of the Verona Fair, The Italian Air Force took part in Model Expo Italy 2022, the most important event in Italy and among the main ones in Europe in the modelling and games sector.
Around 450 exhibitors and associations, spread across five halls covering over 60,000 square metres, to discover the latest innovations for the many enthusiasts of aeromodelling, car modelling, train modelling, static modelling, ship modelling, cosplay and games, and a further opportunity to get closer to the passion for flying.
The 17th edition of Model Expo 2022 was, as in previous years, a valuable opportunity for the Italian Air Force to engage visitors and showcase some of the Armed Force's assets and capabilities in an innovative and exciting context. Stand set up by the Air Force, indeed, visitors were given the opportunity to try out the recreational flight simulator that aeroplane Eurofighter, as well as admiring the cockpit of a AMX aircraft.At the stand, there was also staff from 3rd Wing for the presentation of the Remote controlled robotic vehicles used during the logistics and operational activities of the Department. The occasion was also useful for describing the Armed Force's editorial products and providing information to younger people about Air Force recruitment competitions.
