It 15 e 16 May 2026, the Air Force is opening its doors to the public at the Milan-Linate Airport Command to jointly celebrate 101 years since the establishment of the first air command in the city of Milan.
Entry is free and open to all from 10 am to 5 pm (event ends at 6 pm), by reservation only; access will be from the Viale dell’Aviazione, 1 – 20138 Milan entrance.
The event represents a unique opportunity for all citizens and aviation enthusiasts who will be able to admire aircraft and helicopters up close and learn about the history, traditions, and operational capabilities of the Armed Force. Visitors will, in fact, experience an immersive journey that includes a static display of aircraft and military vehicles, themed exhibition areas, interactive activities, flight and meteorology simulators, information stands, as well as areas dedicated to children and catering areas.
The presence of Fanfare of the 1st Air Region of the Italian Air Force, a symbol of professionalism, passion, and team spirit, whose music will make the celebration even more special.

For visitors travelling by train from all over the region, Trenord is offering a dedicated return ticket for the event, with departures from all stations in Lombardy and arrival at Milano Forlanini.
This special ticket allows children up to 14 years of age to travel for free when accompanied by the ticket holder.
