Culture is palpable at this Festival and in this city, which is why we are very happy to be here with our musicians.”, These are some of the words contained in the greeting address by Air Force General Luca Goretti, Chief of the Air Staff, who attended the concert together with Dr Gianfranco Palmisano, mayor of Martina Franca, and Dr Franco Punzi, president of the Festival.
The event was a pleasant preview of the prestigious Festival della Valle d'Itria, which officially opened on 19 July; on the occasion, it was also reiterated that a strong bond that has always linked the Italian Air Force to the city of Martina Franca, home of the 16th Wing, and to the entire Apulian territory.
