The works of participants are to be sent to AAA CESMA by 31 March 2010. Inside are the participation rules. The prize is aimed at all those who, through their commitment and sacrifice, have collaborated in the technical and human progress of flight in its civil and military applications, and is reserved for authors of books disseminating aeronautical and space culture. The prize is divided into a Historical section, a Narrative section, a Technical-Scientific section, as well as a section for works, including those not commercially available, published by companies and institutions in the sector, even if solely for promotional and/or educational purposes. Authors of books in Italian may participate in the prize if they were published after 1st April 2007, or if they were published prior to this date but were not evaluated in the previous AAA literary prize. Five copies of the works submitted by participants must arrive by 31st March 2010 at the Associazione Arma Aeronautica – Centro Studi Militari Aeronautici (CESMA) – Via Marcantonio Colonna, 23/25 – 00192 Rome – Tel. The Award is presided over by the National President of the AAA, Air Squadron Leader (retired) Gianbortolo Parisi, who will be assisted by a jury comprising seven members, both civilian and military, and three substitute members. The Jury will proceed to evaluate the works taking into particular account: the interest and originality of the theme; the quality of research or ideation capabilities; the literary exposition; the graphic and editorial presentation; the contribution to the dissemination of aeronautical thought and culture (limited to the Historical and Narrative Sections). The Jury will select an overall winner and a winner for each Section. The Jury reserves the right to also award a special recognition to authors deserving particular mention.
