The agreement for the training of military personnel with the ASL of Lecce will be signed on Wednesday, March 17th. Thanks to the agreement, military healthcare personnel will be able to develop their professional nursing skills by training in the techniques and intervention procedures adopted by the ASL's emergency service. Military personnel will be able to participate in any courses or informational and training events organised by the ASL itself. “The ultimate goal is to pursue the integration between military and civilian healthcare, which are two sides of the same coin, and thus make the activity of our nurses homogeneous with the protocols used by Emergency and Acceptance Services. Our personnel will thus be able to acquire the professional expertise necessary to act with autonomy, decisiveness, and awareness in any emergency context in which they are called to operate,” commented Lieutenant Colonel Piergianni.
