Wednesday 12th May the pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima at Modena Reparto
The initiative, conceived by the Sanctuary's rector, Fr. Lorenzo M. Ago, to bring the Pilgrim Madonna among members of the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement, was welcomed by the Commander of the 14th Central Depot, Lieutenant Colonel Nicola Gemma, who for the occasion opened the base to devout followers and elementary school children. The ceremony, concelebrated by Military Chaplain Mons. Pierino Sacella, resonated with the public, with a large turnout of elementary school children for whom a small exhibition of special and tactical military vehicles and an Aermacchi MB 308 seaplane, held at the 14th Central Depot, was also set up.
