Welcoming Minister Di Paola, General Abrate and General Bernardis
Upon arrival, the Minister was received by the Chief of Defence, General Biagio Abrate, and the Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, Air Squad General Giuseppe Bernardis. Following military honours, the Minister held a private meeting with General Abrate and General Bernardis, which concluded with the signing of the Guest Book and the presentation of the Air Force Crest. The visit continued in the Sala Piccio, where the delegation attended an illustrative briefing on the Armed Forces focusing on three aspects: the transformation process, the current situation and ongoing measures, and the 2025 capability plan.
The visit ended at 11.30 am with the rendering of honours.
