The Italian Air Force and the Aero Club of Italy have launched the “Giovani Aquile” programme” The course includes an initial theoretical phase in Florence, which will illustrate the fundamental principles of aviation activity, and will then continue at the locations designated by the Aero Club of Italy for the practical flight phase. The latter will, in any case, always be supplemented by appropriate theoretical study as required, as the flight training programme introduces the execution of increasingly difficult manoeuvres. The “Young Eagles” programme represents an important milestone for the students of the Military Aeronautics School who have chosen to dedicate themselves with keen interest to developing a passion for flight, especially given their young age; a moment, within the scope of an entirely voluntary activity that has no bearing on academic results, in which they will be able to test their aptitude and familiarity with touring and sports flying, and consolidate a valuable experience, useful for assessing areas of interest to them when approaching the world of work.
